Aston Martin Vanquish

An Aston Martin for sale attracts attention not only from the biggest car enthusiasts but from practically anyone who might recognize the luxurious style made even more famous by various James Bond films throughout the years. Aston Martin has long been recognized as one of the best car makers throughout the world, owing to its ability to deliver on their promise of designing and creating powerful yet sophisticated automobiles since 1913. One of the brand's more recent achievements is their creation of the Aston Martin Vanquish.

Aston's line of GT cars have always enjoyed an overwhelming reception since the release of the first DB car in the 1940's. Vanquish cars were built throughout six years from 2001 and were popularized by their inclusion in the James Bond film of 2002, "Die Another Day". The exposure gained from that film catapulted the model to being chosen as one of the best film cars of all time and for adequate reason. Its use of the same technology as that of the Project Vantage concept car meant that every Vanquish was built to run on a 5.9 L V12 engine which performed at 454 bhp. Another version that came out in 2004, the Aston Martin Vanquish S was of an even better make as it was fitted with a 6.0L V12, cranking out over 500 bhp at 7,000 rpm.

Between mid-2006 to mid-2007, only 40 more of the said model were going to be made and then released as the Vanquish S Ultimate Edition. With much better interiors and an "ultimate black" finish, those last cars were the first of all the Vanquish cars to be fitted with gearboxes for manual transmission. Before handing over the title to the DBS V12, the Aston Martin Vanquish was the company's flagship automobile and to this day remains as one of the most coveted sports cars in recent history.
